DescriptionThis course, offered by the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, gives health professionals the attitudes, skills and knowledge necessary to provide preventive health services to reduce the health impact of disease and injury resulting from workplace and community factors. The course caters for the special needs of medical practitioners, nurses, allied health personnel, scientists and occupational health and safety managers. Progression to further studiesThis course articulates with the Master of Occupational and Environmental Health or can lead to the Master of Public Health. Alternative exit(s)Students may exit this course with a Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health providing all requirements of that award have been met.
