Parkville First semester 2008 (Off-campus) SynopsisThis unit will provide students with a clinical risk management framework for managing and preventing wounds. This unit will explore the evidential basis for prevention strategies for wounds such as skin tears, leg ulcer and pressure ulcers. Students will not only explore client issues associated with prevention but also explore the local environment and organisational factors that influence prevention in both the hospital and community setting ObjectivesAt the completion of this unit students will be able to:
