The principle aim of this subject is to provide students with an understanding of microbiology and microbiological concepts as a basis for later work in other subjects within the pharmaceutical and formulation sciences.
Assessment
Examination (2 hours) 70% Contact hours39 (13 weeks of 3) lectures and 9 x 3 hour practical sessions. Successful completion of this unit will require participants to allocate an average of 3-5 hour per week for 13 weeks (a total of 1-2 hours per study period [lecture]). Prerequisites |
