Gippsland First semester 2008 (Day) SynopsisThis unit provides students with a thorough grounding in the design of practice-based research. Common conceptual and methodological issues associated with research are reviewed. Particular emphasis is placed on an examination of both the intrumental and moral bases of social welfare research. The end and means of social welfare research in general and students' specific research priorities are interrogated. Objectives
