Physical characteristics of blood and the mechanisms of coagulation. Physiology of the heart, electrical conducting system and ECG. Anatomy of the heart, pericardium, great vessels; physiology of circulation, regulation of blood pressure, shock and homeostasis; coronary circulation and pulmonary circulation. Anatomy of the aorta and branches; veins of the head and neck, extremities, thorax, abdomen and pelvis. Angiographic anatomy, pathology and cross-sectional anatomy of the thorax, abdomen and pelvis.
