Examines theories of knowledge, social movements, political and social organisations, natural and human disasters and disease shaping contemporary public health perspectives and practices. Current organizational structures for public health policy development and service delivery at local, state and national levels. Foundation for contextual understanding of public health research, policy development and program planning and implementation. Objectives
