Upon completion of this unit, students should:
have a general understanding of the constitutional law and statutory framework that operates in relevant countries; analyse and critically comment upon the impact of the constitutional system on the protection of human rights and freedoms; have an indepth understanding of the rights studied, and the framework for protection established under the relevant constitutional systems, and understand, evaluate and apply policy arguments for and against reform of the legal protection of rights and freedoms.
