Main matters covered are: the common law of Crown employment; structure/management of Government services; appointment of officers, public servants and other government workers, their rights and obligations; classifications, transfers, promotions; remuneration/other benefits; grievances appeals procedures; tenure, dismissal, redundancies, redeployment, retirement; discipline and industrial action; impact of federal and state unfair dismissal statutory remedies.
