Clayton First semester 2008 (Day) SynopsisThis unit provides the opportunity for high-achieving students to undertake an individual research project in Genetics with an academic supervisor. It includes a critical literature review, experimental design and data analysis, and seminar attendance. The student must maintain regular contact with supervisor(s) and subject coordinator. Three oral reports (preliminary, 10 minutes; progress, 10 minutes; final poster session): 20% Contact hoursApproximately 12 hours per week PrerequisitesPermission of the Head of School plus students must have approval of project and supervisor prior to enrolment. In addition, students must have a distinction average across 24 points of second level units, including a minimum of 12 points from GEN2041, GEN2052, MOL2011 and MOL2022. Prohibitions |
