Caulfield First semester 2008 (Day) Synopsis
Students are required to undertake and report on an original research topic that addresses a contemporary and significant issue in the field of applied or theoretical econometrics and to present that research at seminar presentations and in a thesis of between 20,000 and 25,000 words in length. Students must find a suitable supervisor, have selected an appropriate area of research and have obtained the approval of their course director before undertaking this unit. The minor thesis is expected to be of sufficient standard and practical relevance so as to be suitable for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. Objectives
