Gippsland First semester 2008 (Day) SynopsisThis 6 point unit investigates approaches to integrating the primary school curriculum, emphasizing a shift away from individual representations of the curriculum to a socio-environmental perspective. The unit highlights subject specific pedagogical practices, in particular those within Health and Physical Education, Science and Technology, and the Expressive Arts. The process of curriculum construction and design is examined through a variety of lenses, with an emphasis on the teaching and learning opportunities created by classroom materials and environments.
