The unit will focus on a broad range of aspects of resource management but will pay particular attention to human capital investment examining the theories and practices of recruitment, role objectives, the work environment, conflict resolution, performance review, and employee learning and development. The unit will further explore the organisational tensions between delivery of product to market, sustainable resource management and the growing of human capital, examining the implications of triple bottom line reporting for viable long-term financial success of an organisation.
