Leader: Dr D de Zilwa

Offered

Clayton First semester 2008 (Day)

Synopsis

This unit examines the changing context of adult learning and development. It explores the range of learning places and the factors which encourage linkages between work, and individual and organisational development and learning. It considers the way broad contextual changes at a global, national and local level are re-shaping the place and character of learning at work, and it considers the practical work necessary to harness learning and organisational development to processes of workplace change. The role of the educator in all these processes and relationships is clearly critical.
