Studies include an awareness of the profession, delivery styles, tools and settings. Practical skills at the introductory level include bushwalking and camp craft. A particular emphasis is placed on attaining navigation, camp craft and environmental interpretation competencies. The unit includes eight days of field programs. Objectives
