Attitude toward risk, decision making by discretionary hedgers in futures markets; price determination and performance of futures markets; price determination and performance of futures markets; price determination and hedging in options markets; capital asset pricing model.

Objectives

The learning goals associated with this unit are to:

  • have an understanding of how to think about the trade-off between risk and return
  • have the ability to read literature in financial economics.
