They will be exposed to a variety of different presentation styles designed to cater for specific audiences and will learn to evaluate case material in an objective and critical manner. They will participate in discussions of clinical issues and recent developments in the field of Clinical Neuropsychology and will be challenged to remain informed about such developments and issues. Objectives
The primary aim of this unit is to provide students with an opportunity to observe and participate in oral presentations of case material and other professional issues at the same time as they commence their first clinical placement.
AssessmentStudents will be required to participate in class discussions on a regular basis. Each student will also be required to prepare and present one 45 minute oral presentation describing an issue of current interest in Clinical Neuropsychology or a case seen during their practical work. |
