Be able to select different approaches to model making and prototyping and understand their implication for the design concept and process and as a mode of presentation; 2. be familiar with a range of fabrication techniques as they apply to construction of architectural models and prototypes; 3. have a working understanding of the application and operation of manual and electric workshop equipment; 4. Understand the occupational health and safety policy requirements of the model making workshop environment and be able to demonstrate safe work practices on a selected range of equipment.
