The discipline

Ecology is the scientific study of interactions between organisms and their environment. It focuses on explaining pattern and process in the natural world at different levels of integration (as individuals, populations and communities) and at varying temporal and spatial scales.

Sequence requirements

Major sequence in ecology (48 points)

• BIO1011 and one of BIO1022 or BIO1042
• BIO2011 and at least one of BIO2181 or BIO2231
• BIO3011 and any two or three of BIO3021, BIO3082, BIO3091, BIO3111, BIO3122 or GEN3062
