Parkville First semester 2007 (Day)
Biopharmaceutics - peroral, buccal, rectal, percutaneous, ocular, nasal, vaginal, parenteral and protein delivery. Therapeutic drug monitoring - prediction of dosage. Use of population parameters. Bayesian and probability methods. Applied pharmaceutics - the application of pharmaceutics including the knowledge of the physico-chemical properties of the drug, formulation strategies, biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics to understanding the dosage form and the implications for its use in practice.
Students will develop an:
End-of-semester examination: 70% (2 hours)
Workshop assignments: 30%
