Caulfield First semester 2007 (Day)
Commencing with a basic introduction and exercises, this unit develops through a sequential program of theoretical lectures, tutorials and practice, to culminate in the complex integrations of the selected principles of design relevant to digital media. Students are introduced to the theories of perception, problem solving in design and practicalities of producing type, image, layout and colour for electronic environments. The skills and knowledge acquired, form a solid basis to support the major area of multimedia computing.
On successful completion of this unit, student should be able to:
