Synopsis

As for TRN4010, with the additional requirement that fifth-year students will focus on the issues of machine translation and the use of on-line corpora.

Assessment

A portfolio of five text-handling/ translation tasks (approximately 500 words each) accompanied by short critical reports (400 words each): 100%
Fifth-year students will be expected to demontsrate more mastery of the use of machine-assisted translation and on-line corpora.
