Synopsis

Progression from PUB4002. Editorial instruction and extended consideration of issues of editorial style, editing of different kinds of text (scholarly, literary, technical, etc) and the practical application of editorial skills.

Assessment

Research/project essays (4000 words): 40%
Two practical presentation assignments (3500 words): 40%
Exam (1500 words): 20%

Contact hours

2 hours (1 x 2 hour seminar) per week plus industry seminars
