Synopsis

The subject will take the form of student-initiated discussions on problems connected with knowledge and belief. It will be mainly based on recent articles, which will be made available. http://www.arts.monash.edu.au/phil/undergraduate/

Assessment

Essay (2250 word) : 50%
Essay (2250 word) : 50%
Either of these tasks may optionally be replaced by a 3 hour examination.

(a) Either (i) the Logic component of PHL1020, or (ii) PHL1080, or (iii) PHL2170; and
