Synopsis

Soil management: amelioration, cultivation, herbicides, sod culture, cover crops, frost control, nutrition; Pruning: methods, alternatives, demonstration, and assessment of pruning level; Pests and Disease: identification, effect on wine quality, ideal conditions for, and control of; Operation and maintenance of equipment; Wine characteristics: type, flavour profiling, smell, climate influence, varietal characteristics, faults and their causes and prevention; Vineyeard tour and inspection; Health and legal issues associated with alcohol consumption.
