Caulfield First semester 2007 (Evening)
Students are provided with an appreciation of the importance of industrial and employee relations in the strategic management of organisations. The unit explores three levels of strategy development: macro which includes government industrial relations policy, mezzo which investigates strategy in peak organisations such as employer bodies and the ACTU, and micro which includes strategy in individual organisations and trade unions.

Individual assignment 1: 40% (3500 words)

Class Assessment: 20% (individual presentation
500 word report)
3-hour session per week
Must have passed four 9000-level units including MGX9220 or BTX9070.
