Synopsis

Student will identify a relevant project, develop research objects and hyptheses, establish an appropriate research design, carry out the research, and write up the report.

Objectives

The learning goals associated with this unit are to:

• develop in-depth knowledge of the business research process
• gain insight into the identification of relevant research projects
• acquire knowledge of hypothesis generation
• apply tools and techniques to develop an appropriate research design
• apply analytical methods to data analysis and report writing.

Assessment

Assignment 1 (1,500 words): 10%
Assignment 2 (3,000 words): 30%
Assignment 3: (5,500 words): 60%

Prerequisites

Completion of 48 points of study at the 9000 and 5000 level units.
