Objectives

The learning objectives of this unit are to:

• explain the relationship between the changing face of organisations into today?s business environment and the need for managers to attend to organisational wellness;
• summarise the predictors and consequences of ?wellness? and ?toxicity? in the organisational context;
• critically assess current organisational wellness initiatives;
• evaluate current theoretical frameworks of ?wellness? in order to formulate ?healthy? organisation initiatives.

Individual assignment (2000 words): 20%
Group Report: 40%
Examination (2 hours): 40%
