Transducers and sensors: theory modelling techniques. Actuation: servo, stepper, drives, pneumatics, etc. Development of design formulations. Microprocessors and embedded systems. System modelling and development: case studies, system design, analysis and programming. Autonomous systems. Applications. A self-directed learning component completes the unit.
