The information technology project allows a student to have the opportunity to carry out a significant individual task in the information technology field under supervision. The project can be conducted in a variety of topic areas, which may include: the design, development, prototype construction and testing of a significant item of hardware or software; an in-depth investigation and report of a relevant topic in information technology. The project topic must be approved by the supervisor and project coordinator prior to its commencement.
Mainly based on the project deliverables and a thesis of at least 12,000 words.

Project proposal must be approved by the unit advisor before enrolling
FIT5001, FIT5002, GCO5002, GCO5809, BUS4580, BUS4590, CSE4886, CSE5811 or any graduate project units.
