Clayton Second semester 2007 (Day)
This unit provides an introduction to the deployment of business systems for B2C Internet Commerce. It covers the strategy, technology and implementation issues in Internet Commerce, in particular the selection of software and hardware systems used in on-line transactions. It builds the students understanding about the infrastructure for Internet Commerce by outlining the web markup languages, popular internet applications, protocols and utility programs.
Laboratory work: 10%; Seminar presentation: 10%; Written report: 20%; Examination (2 hours): 60%.
