The range, abilities and disabilities of exceptional children mainstreamed in regular schools and early childhood settings. The teacher's role in developing strategies and programs to meet exceptional children's needs.
Upon successful completion of this unit, students should have an understanding of the educational implications for schooling exceptional children in regular schools; knowledge of the range, abilities and disabilities of exceptional children and the development of plans and strategies to meet these children's needs.
