Synopsis

In this unit, students will undertake a review of literature related to previous studies and/or professional aspirations arising from Bachelor of Sport and Outdoor Recreation/ Bachelor of Education units. The review of literature will synthesize existing scholarship or reports and discussions. Students will develop a proposal under the guidance and support of the unit coordinators in units already established.

Objectives

Upon successful completion of this unit students will have developed research planning skills to identify and research a problem or need; be involved in, and take ownership of a project of their own choosing that will enhance their professional development; write a high quality paper related to the focus of the study chosen.

Assessment

Assignment (1500 words): 25%
Report (4000 words): 75%
