Clayton Second semester to First semester 2007 (Day)
Entry to honours is by invitation only based on the results in core subjects. This substantial Hons project is arranged as a single CSE4402 12 point unit. It comprises an honours project, a compulsory communication component and a research skills component. The honours project provides an opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills gained in other units and to synthesise a solution to a significant, realistic and practical problem. Presentations are made at public forums to academics, student peers, industry representatives of the course, clients and other interested parties.

Mandatory attendance and satisfactory completion of all the requirements: Presentations. Final report.
12 hours per week - a two semester subject. The unit is offered for students in their Hons year. The unit is offered as a 6 point per semester for 2 semesters. 290 hours of supervised work (which includes meetings with supervisor for a minimum of 12 hours)
Computer Science Hons Project or Digital Systems Hons Project or other Hons projects of the Faculty of Information Technology.
