Clayton Second semester 2007 (Day)
This unit introduces students to a variety of topics outside the curriculum, and provides an opportunity to write programs (or, rarely,to build hardware) in an area of interest to the student and the School. The subject operates in an informal manner, and the programming tasks are designed to be interesting and challenging to advanced students. Enrolment is by invitation only, and a quota may be applied.
Demonstration of software/hardware (100%). Pass Grade Only.
80 hours per student. (20 hours attending talks and meetings, 10 hours reading, 40 hours software/hardware development (of which: average 20 hours using Monash facilities, 20 hours using private facilities), 10 hours preparing and giving final demonstration.)
