Synopsis

As for COG4000(A).

Objectives

On successful completion of this unit students should be able to:

1. examine a large body of relevant literature and distil from that, those issues most pertinent to their chosen area of research within the Cognitive Sciences
2. independently design and conduct a research project, and analyse and interpret the data obtained
3. integrate the outcome of their own research into a larger body of knowledge in that field
4. provide, in the form of a dissertation, a report that effectively communicates the details of their research, in all respects, at a publishable standard.
