Parkville Second semester 2007 (Day)
The subject will provide students with a knowledge and understanding of membrane transport, bioavailability, basic pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism and drug stability that can be applied to the development of drugs. Major topic areas include: Biopharmaceutics. Pharmacokinetics. Drug Stability. Drug Metabolism.
Students will develop:
Workshop 10%; Exam 90%
48 hours of Lectures, 8 x 3 hour Workshops; and Independent study.
