The objective of this unit is to provide students with a broad introduction to the contemporary themes in Accounting Information Systems research. The unit covers issues on research and practice in the following areas: frameworks and ontologies in information systems; decision making; process modeling; systems and data; and design and behavioural aspects in accounting information systems. Upon completion of this unit, students are expected to be able to critically evaluate design and behavioural aspects of accounting information systems research and practice. They should also be able to identify major research questions in accounting information systems.

Enrolment in an honours or masters program offered by the Faculty of Business and Economics
Must be enrolled in Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) or Postgraduate Diploma in Economics and Commerce
