Course description

Course requirements

This course provides students with the opportunity to pursue in-depth study in the area of communications while completing a bachelors degree or double degree in other fields. Students develop an understanding of the organisation, processes and effects of traditional and new communications technologies. They also learn to critically analyse the media and explore the structure of communications industries and the relations between the media, culture and power.

Course structure
