The students will have an in-depth knowledge of some aspects of the basic science concepts supporting formulation science and will be able to undertake a review and critical evaluation of the relative literature. They will be involved in the process of planning a research project with the assistance of their project supervisor, utilise analytical instrumentation, conduct experimental procedures and methodologies, and undertake data collection and analysis, then interpret the data. Communicating the outcomes of the project in both oral and written formats will be an essential element of the assessment. Assessment is by successful completion and examination of a research thesis of not more than 20,000. Course objectivesUpon completion of the Master of Formulation Science, the student will:
Entry requirementsEntry requirements are full completion and a result of H2A or above in the honours degree of the Bachelor of Formulation Science, or other relevant field, with honours 1 or 2A from Monash University of any other recognised tertiary institution, which in the opinion of the graduate studies committee is suitable preparation for the candidate’s proposed field of study.
