Course description

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in the Faculty of Law may be undertaken in any area of research offered by the Faculty of Law. The current principal research areas cover administrative law and regulations, commercial law, comparative law, constitutional law, construction law, courts, corporations and associations, criminal law and procedure, e-commerce and information technology, environment law, equity, evidence, family law, gender and law, health and medical law, human rights, intellectual property, international law, labour law, legal education, legal history, legal profession and practice, litigation and dispute resolution, natural resources law, property law, social security law, taxation law, torts, trusts and trustees.

Course structure

Candidates for the PhD are required to complete a thesis up to 100,000 words.
