Course description

This course, offered through the Department of Psychology, offers graduates a 60-point major in psychology accredited by the Australian Psychological Society (APS), permitting them to undertake the further training needed to obtain professional qualifications. The course replaces enrolment in single psychology units.

Course structure

The course structure is identical to the 60-point APS-accredited undergraduate major sequence in psychology, that is, nine core units and one elective unit.

Course progression requirements

Students are normally expected to pass all units at a given year level before proceeding to the next year level. The minimum time for completion in this manner is three years. Students wishing to accelerate their progress through this course should contact an adviser in the Department of Psychology.
