Course description

This course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills to enable health professionals and veterinary surgeons to effectively manage acute and chronic wounds. The course comprises five core units and three electives. On completion of the graduate certificate, students can apply for the Graduate Diploma in Wound Care and the Master of Wound Care.

Entry requirements

An undergraduate degree in an appropriate health discipline and at least two years of relevant clinical experience.

Up to two units can be taken as non-award units, with credit available towards future award courses.

All units are delivered by flexible learning, with a comprehensive set of study materials provided to each student. Students must have personal computer access to a reasonable internet connection with Netscape or MS Explorer browser, MS Office software and a CD-ROM drive.
