Units indexed by faculty Graduate Diploma in Health Services ManagementCourse code: 2314 + Course abbreviation: GradDipHlthServMt + Total credit points required: 48 + 2 semesters full-time, 4 semesters part-time Study mode and course locationOn-campus (Alfred Hospital, Prahran) Course descriptionThis course, offered by the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, provides a broad framework from which to manage clinical health care systems by attention to human resource, financial, information, medico-legal, political, cultural, economic, ethical, industrial, technological and psychosocial issues. This course articulates with the Master of Health Services Management or the Master of Public Health. Students are required to complete compulsory block requirements each semester. Entry requirementsApplicants must have an undergraduate degree in an appropriate discipline and relevant professional experience. The department will individually assess applications from students without a three-year degree. In such instances, the department may require completion of the Graduate Certificate in Health Services Management before enrolling in the graduate diploma.
