Units indexed by faculty Master of Engineering Science in Advanced Process DesignCourse code: 2487 + Course abbreviation: MEngSc Adv Proc Des + Total credit points required: 72 + 3 years part-time Study mode and course locationOff-campus (Clayton; Malaysia) Course descriptionThis course seeks to provide the knowledge and skills that will allow industry to adopt more efficient, less resource-consuming, cleaner, process arrangements within an overall context of sustainable development. The program is jointly provided by Monash and the University of Manchester. Entry requirementsAn applicant should normally have qualified for the Bachelor of Engineering degree with honours. In certain circumstances, applicants may be admitted if they hold the pass degree of Bachelor of Engineering or some other appropriate degree from this or another university together with honours equivalent work experience. Course structureThe course is normally completed in three years of part-time study. The degree comprises coursework units to the value of 48 points and a minor thesis (24 points). The design project work module will require each student to successfully participate in and complete seven design project sessions, each of one to two days duration.
