Course description

This course is designed for graduates in social sciences who wish to improve their research capabilities. It is primarily targeted at practitioners in market research, graduates undertaking research-based programs such as masters by research and doctoral students in their early stages of candidature. The course provides skills and knowledge in research design, multivariate data analysis, research practice and the philosophy and practice of marketing research.

Course structure

Students must complete the following four core units (24 points):

  • MKX9050 Marketing theory
  • MKX9060 Marketing research practice
  • MKX9070 Qualitative methods: paradigms and approaches
  • MKX9080 Quantitative research methods in marketing
