It can be taken part-time over two semesters. Students will gain an understanding of key environment and sustainability management concepts, principles, issues and trends and be able to relate these to business management theory and practice. Students will be able to apply basic corporate environmental and sustainability management principles to real-world contexts and gain an understanding of organisational barriers and change strategies to facilitate environment and sustainability improvement in businesses. Entry requirementsApplicants who do not hold a tertiary qualification must have a minimum of five years relevant work experience either as an owner manager or in a management/supervisory position(s) or a policy/coordination position(s) deemed appropriate, or experience administering expenditure in excess of $500,000 per annum for at least three years. Such applicants must provide a current curriculum vitae and also be recommended by their employer or, if self-employed, provide suitable references regarding their academic potential and managerial competency and submit a statement of up to 1000 words indicating their career objectives and reasons for applying for entry.
