Course description

This honours degree has as its basic aim to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of an area of study relevant to network computing and provide a preparation for further research.
On the successful completion of this degree, students will have:

Entry requirements

Completion of the Bachelor of Network Computing degree, with a credit average in results in level three units, or the equivalent of an Australian computing bachelors degree with equivalent credit average results.

Course structure

Course requirements

The course consists of one unit, CPE4000, which requires 48 points of study: 24 points of coursework at fourth level or fifth level and a 24-point thesis. Each student's course of study in CPE4000 will require approval by the head of school.
Students may be granted up to 24 points credit for units previously completed at fourth level in the area of network computing, provided any such units have not been used to qualify for any other award.
