The course is designed to meet the needs of teachers, coordinators, text and curriculum developers and lecturers at all levels wishing to increase their understanding of recent developments in teaching, assessment, curriculum and research in science and mathematics education, as well as teachers and other educators who wish to gain higher qualifications and research expertise in science and mathematics education.

Candidates who successfully complete the Postgraduate Diploma of Education
(Mathematics and Science Education) may complete a masters degree by
