Course description

This is a professional doctorate combining coursework and research. It is ideal for students who wish to research their area of expertise in depth, but who do not wish to do this using the methodology of a single research topic.

All students will be required to complete four units of coursework and a research component of 60,000 words. Intake: March and July.

Fees

Australian students and permanent residents will be required to pay full fees for the first year of candidature. Subject to satisfactory completion of the probationary (full-time equivalent) year of the DBA, students may be eligible for an RTS-funded place, however there are only a limited number of these available each year and domestic students may be liable for fees for the duration of candidature.

International students will be required to pay full fees. However, students will be eligible to apply for a scholarship to cover fees, such as an International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS) or a Monash International Research Scholarship (MIPRS).

Preliminary inquiries to discuss the area of specialisation should be directed to the higher degree by research coordinator of the appropriate department.
