Course description

The course provides the specialised skills and expertise required in the banking and finance industry. It is designed to cater for the needs of those people in the industry who require specialist skills in the banking and finance industry, including a knowledge of Australian capital markets, business law, lending, treasury operations, portfolio management, international banking and finance and planning and strategy.

Course structure

Students must complete four units (24 credit points) as follows:
(i) Four finance units from:

or
(ii) Four 9000-level units related to a finance discipline, offered by the Department of Accounting and Finance.

* Students who wish to study AFX9641 must have an accounting background.

Students who successfully complete the Graduate Certificate in Banking and Finance with an average grade of credit or above may apply for admission to the Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance.
